Staggered Birthday Celebrations!!

Over the weekend ‘Special K’ my youngest daughter celebrated a birthday in Sydney (Uni student)….. She was a little upset as she only got one birthday card from her extensively spread family!

I explained that everyone had sent a card, or in some cases a gift!  I immediately sent texts to close family…… Did you remember birthday? All were adament that they had.  In the meantime; am blessing  text messages, they sent heartfelt wishes…….!

Today I was talking to my daughter and the great thing she said was….. “Well, my birthday is over, I had so much to do on Saturday…. But it’s over!  Now, I can really enjoy every card or gift that arrives.”   How wonderful is that…. OK, I did direct the conversation, but she so agreed.   So rather than being disappointed, she is excited…… which brings me to my point!!!

Most women don’t get flowers very often…. But on my birthday I sometimes receive 3 bouquets.  I love each and every flower, but don’t truly appreciate them!  I would LOVE to have  a staggered delivery….. THEN, every flower would mean so much more?

In the meantime I hope cards will arrive every day for ‘Special K’  and give her joy!

I had just written a post and your website came up on my zamenta application. I attached the article to my story. I thought you might like to read it. Tell that daughter of yours happy-belated-birthday!
